It is a well established fact that TLR has donated over $6 Million dollars to liberal Democrats, but did you know TLR has also been funding the war on conservatives?
In the 2024 Republican Primary, TLR spent over $6.5 million dollars backing 15 losing incumbents. Many of the “Republicans” TLR supported were known as RINOs, and they were replaced by some of the strongest Republicans in the Texas House.
Roughly half of the RINO incumbents TLR supported in 2024 received over half a million dollars to fend off their conservative challenger that cycle. Many of these RINOS had also received over $1 million dollars from TLR while they were in elected office.
To put these large numbers into perspective, many of the seats TLR donated too are safe Republican seats where the average campaign spending is $100,000 or less. When TLR donates over $500,000 to one of these races it’s clear they are trying flood the airways, mailboxes, inboxes, and text messages to buy the seat. Thankfully many Texas voters saw right through this game and sent TLR packing.

Undeterred by their humiliating losses in 2024, TLR geared up to stop more conservatives in 2026 with what we are calling “The Revenge of the RINOs” campaign. TLR spent another $5 million+ dollars on 7 loosing candidates in the 2026 GOP primary!
| Conservatives TLR Tried to Stop | TLR Spent: |
|---|---|
| GOP Nominee Armin Mizani (won with 53% of the vote. TLR spent over $251 per vote and lost) | $2,855,371 |
| Rep. Marc LaHood (won with 73% of the vote. TLR spent over $267 per vote and lost) | $1,256,431 |

| Rep. Andy Hopper (won with 70% of the vote) | $50,000 |

To make matters worse, TLR has donated $1.3 million dollars to 7 candidates censured by the Republican Party of Texas for lack of fidelity to Republican principles.

When it’s all said and done TLR has spent over $13.3 million dollars on loosing or censured candidates. Their efforts to flood these races with cash and drown out conservatives are failing. Texas primary voters are waking up to the mud TLR is spreading, and are voting for change.
